Pemda Prov Jabar Luncurkan Program Perlindungan Anak Korban COVID-19

TRIKPOS.COM, BANDUNG – Pemda Provinsi Jawa Barat resmi meluncurkan program Perlindungan dan Pemberdayaan Anak Yatim, Piatu, dan Yatim Piatu Terdampak COVID-19. Selain dari APBD Provinsi, program ini juga menggalang bantuan dari berbagai lembaga dan individu filantropi.

Peluncuran program dilakukan dalam acara Temu Pimpinan Aspirasi Masyarakat (Tepas): Kick Off Perlindungan dan Jaminan Sosial Anak Yatim, Piatu dan Yatim Piatu Akibat COVID-19, di Plaza Gedung Sate, Kota Bandung, Selasa (28/9/2021).

Wakil Gubernur Jawa Barat Uu Ruzhanul Ulum menegaskan Pemda Provinsi Jabar menaruh perhatian terhadap anak- anak korban COVID-19. Data terbaru jumlah anak yang perlu ditolong karena orang tuanya meninggal akibat COVID-19 ada 7.222 anak tersebar di 27 kabupaten/kota.

Wagub menyebut bahwa anak yang kehilangan orang tuanya mempunyai tempat istimewa, sehingga harus disantuni, dikasihi, dihormati, dan diakui eksistensinya secara khusus. Visi Jabar Juara Lahir Batin bisa terwujud salah satunya dengan mengharap berkah dari anak- anak yatim piatu.

“Kegiatan hari ini membuktikan Pemda Provinsi Jawa Barat peduli terhadap anak yatim, piatu, dan yatim piatu sebagai amanat undang- undang,” ujar Uu Ruzhanul Ulum.

Sejumlah lembaga filantropi turut serta pada program ini di antaranya Forum Zakat (FoZ), Bank bjb, Bank BRI, Yayasan Rumah Yatim Piatu, ASN Peduli Jabar, Yayasan Pikiran Rakyat, Asosiasi Pengusaha Sahabat Anak Indonesia (APSAI), Baznas Provinsi Jawa Barat, Kita Bisa Indonesia.

Kemudian Forum CSR Jawa Barat, Yayasan Kawal Masa Depan, PT Taspen, Forum BUMD, Ikatan Alumni ITB, Ikatan Alumni Unpad, Himpunan Pengusaha Muda, dan PT Pos Indonesia. Pemda Provinsi Jabar masih membuka lembaga maupun individu yang hendak berpartisipasi dalam program ini.

“Harapan kami _agnia_ atau lembaga lainnya juga memberi perhatian serupa. Kami pun berterima kasih kepada lembaga- lembaga yang sudah peduli,” kata Pak Uu.

Pak Uu juga mengajak warga Jabar yang memiliki kemampuan dan harta berlebih mau menjadi orang tua angkat anak – anak tampa orang tua ini.
“Saya berharap (warga) jadilah bapak ibu angkat, jadilah orang tua angkat bagi anak yang membutuhkan perhatian, biaya, dan lainnya,” tuturnya.

Kepala Dinas Sosial Jawa Barat Dodo Suhendar program ini berupaya menjamin kebutuhan dasar anak seperti pendidikan, kesehatan, termasuk santunan yang sifatnya jangka pendek. Pemberdayaan akan disesuaikan dengan rentang usia anak mulai dari SD, SMP, SMA.

Bagi yang sudah di berusia 18 tahun ke atas, anak tersebut akan diupayakan melanjutkan kuliah atau jika tidak kuliah akan diberi keterampilan. Program ini juga menjangkau istri yang suaminya meninggal COVID-19 dan harus menghidupi anaknya seorang diri.

“Termasuk ibunya akan diberdayakan, namanya program Perempuan Rawan Sosial Ekonomi. Mereka akan diberdayakan, dilatih. Kalau mereka punya kemampuan akan diberikan alat dan modal,” jelas Dodo.

*SALAH* satu lembaga filantropi yang terlibat dalam program ini adalah Asosiasi Pengusaha Sahabat Anak Indonesia (APSAI). Menurut Ketua APSAI Feny Mustafa, organisasinya antusias menolong anak- anak kurang beruntung ini dan bertekad menjadikannya generasi andalan di masa depan.

“Ibu ingin jadi ibu kalian. Kalian bisa bermain dengan ibu, bisa ke rumah ibu. Di sini banyak bapak/ibu yang siap membantu kalian. Semangat sekolah, berjuang, dan kita semua di sini peduli dan sayang,” ungkapnya kepada anak – anak yang hadir dalam peluncuran program.

Sebagai perkumpulan pengusaha yang cinta anak – anak, Feny berjanji akan menghimpun bantuan dari pengusaha yang lain yang sifatnya jangka panjang.

“Kami akan menghimpun pengusaha – pengusaha untuk berkontribusi memberikan beasiswa. Kami juga akan membuat program seperti lomba- lomba untuk anak- anak untuk membangkitkan motivasi,” katanya.

Septiana masih duduk di bangku kelas 5 SD ketika ibunya meninggal karena COVID-19. Ia di antara anak- anak kurang beruntung yang hadir dalam peluncuran program ini. Bocah lelaki tersebut merasa senang dapat bantuan.

“Saya anak terakhir dari dua bersaudara, ibu saya yang meninggal,” katanya.

Anak lainnya, Ayla Putri juga turut merasa gembira. Perhatian yang ia terima dari banyak pihak menjadi energi dan harapan baru dalam mengejar mimpinya menjadi seorang dokter. Bantuan materi yang ia diterima akan dipakai keperluan sekolah.

“Bantuan untuk keperluan sekolah. Cita- cita ingin jadi dokter,” ungkapnya. (ADV)
