PALEMBANG – Pada hari ke-7 ia menjabat sebagai Kapolda Sumsel ini, Kapolda menyampaikan terima kasih kepada Para Pejabat Utama Polda Sumsel beserta Personel yang sudah melaksanakan commander wish dari Irjen Pol Toni Harmanto, yaitu mengerjakan shalat tepat waktu di masjid.
“Shalat merupakan salah satu bekal kita untuk akhirat, oleh karena itu mari kita melaksanakan shalat tepat waktu,” tambahnya.
Selain itu Kapolda Sumsel juga sudah melakukan pengecekan langsung ke beberapa ruangan yang ada di Satuan Kerja Polda Sumsel.
“Diharapakan apabila Gedung Mapolda Sumsel yang baru sudah selesai maka personel Polda Sumsel dapat bekerja dengan lebih giat terutama dalam melayani masyarakat,” ujarnya.
Pejabat utama diharapkan untuk peduli dan memperhatikan personel yang ada di Polda Sumsel, khususnya di satuan kerja masing-masing. Karena, kata Kapolda, kepedulian dan perhatian Pejabat Utama diharapkan oleh Personel.
“Salah satunya dengan menanyakan tentang perumahan personel, apakah sudah mempunyai rumah atau belum. Setiap bulan personel Polri, khususnya Polda Sumsel dan Polres jajaran mengalami pemotongan gaji yang digunakan untuk Kredit Perumahan Rakyat dan dikelola oleh ASABRI,” tambahnya.
Kapolda Sumsel menyampaikan pada seluruh peserta apel agar memanfaatkan Pemotongan gaji tersebut dengan mengambil perumahan yang bekerja sama dengan Polda Sumsel dan ASABRI.
“Karena sangat sayang apabila hasil pemotongan gaji tersebut tidak digunakan. Jangan berpikir kalau letak perumahan tersebut jauh atau istilahnya tempat jin buang anaknya. Karena kita tidak tahu daerah sekitar perumahan tersebut beberapa tahun yang akan datang akan menjadi apa. Walaupun belum dihuni maka jadikan investasi bagi kita maka mari pergunakan kesempatan KPR tersebut selagi masih muda sebelum pensiun,” imbuhnya.
Pada kesempatan tersebut, Kapolda menyerahkan Santunan dari PT ASABRI Cabang Palembang Kepada Ahli Waris Anggota Polri yang meninggal dalam melaksanakan Tugas AN Almarhum Bripka Doni D, anggota Polres pagar Alam yang diterima ahli waris (istri Alamarhum) Ny. NandaYunita
